Space Northwest manages Liverpool Innovation Park, where Baxter Healthcare, a US-based healthcare company, is investing several million pounds in new biomedical production facilities.

Baxter Healthcare, a subsidiary of Baxter International Inc, specialises in the manufacture of medical technology related to the blood and circulatory system.

After considering a number of alternative locations, both in the UK and overseas, Baxter Healthcare has chosen to invest in a major expansion of its biomedical manufacturing operations in the Northwest.
